NorthStar Recovery Services provided Smoke and Soot Removal to all three stories of Courthouse. Courthouse never interrupted business as a plan was put into place to work nights as well as two shifts on weekends. Temporary Generator was put in place due to the permanent temporary generator damaged beyond repairs. Provided installation of new permanent temporary generator.
NorthStar Recovery Services, (NRS) manages the Matagorda County Courthouse under a Master Services Agreement to provide services for any emergency and or environmental issues experienced at the site. NRS provided temporary power, smoke and soot removal services at the above-mentioned Courthouse due to an electrical fire. The extent of damage included three stories and exterior clean up. Due to the immediate response, the Courthouse business was uninterrupted. To minimize any business interruption, temporary power was deployed as well as night and weekend shifts to accomplish the scope of work. In addition, NRS performed the installation of new permanent temporary generator.
NRS daily updates allowed the Courthouse facilities team to accommodate scheduled activities with accuracy. Consistent project management allowed multiple trades to work in concert to accomplish the goals of the project. NRS completed the project on schedule and within the budget provided upon initial inspection.
